The Cognacs
Grande Champagne
Also called the Heart of Cognac, the Grande
Champagne is the first growing area of Cognac.
The eaux-de-vie, coming from clay-limestone soils
have an extreme finesse and
lightness with a predominantly
floral bouquet.
A creation of our rarest cognac, the premier
cru, this cognac is produced exclusively on our
exceptional domains located in the prestigious growing area of
Grande Champagne.
An ode to the history of a land that nurtures its guardian
angels, this range honors the work of nature, the
journey from earth to heaven that the eaux-de-vie make
during their aging process, symbolized by the wings
of angels delicately drawn on our bottles.
The Domain
The Collection
We proudly present our collection of 3 Grande Champagne vintage cognacs. This range presents characteristics of extreme finesse and lightness with a predominantly floral bouquet.
ABECASSIS VSOP Grande Champagne
ABECASSIS VSOP Grande Champagne is gold in color with amber highlights and reveals a magnificent complexity. The nose opens with a delicate perfume of sweet spices, with a lot of finesse brought by the freshness of its mentholated notes. The mouth offers an elegant attack evolving on a subtle woody note carried by very silky tannins. With a balance between spices and dried fruits, the finish reveals a great mineral freshness already present in the nose.
XO Grande Champagne
The color is bright gold, with a beautiful shine and glints of old gold. On the nose, our ABECASSIS XO Grande Champagne is fine and elegant, evolving on delicate notes of vanilla, citrus zest, cedar wood, dried flowers and eucalyptus. On the palate, the freshness, supported by the fine tannins, reveals a complex and structured eau-de-vie. A subtle balance is established, fluctuating between woody vanilla notes and dried fruits. The finish offers us an evolution of ginger and spices.
Old gold mahogany color. A rich nose with woody notes, spices, licorice,
orange peel and dried fig. The palate offers a controlled aromatic
power with a combination of nuts, cedar wood and candied fruits.
Extremely long finish.
